my spanish class

Our teacher was discussing the whole immigrant issue, which was extremely bias and in a different point of view. She knew illegal immigrants and interviewed them, she read her interviews outloud to the class. There was a great deal of compassionate stories of these illegal immigrants with troubles and such, but she didn't give the moral point of view. A typical aspect on a liberals point of view. Made me kind of angry so in between her words, A classmate and myself would give out sly remarks. In which she ignored anyway, but atleast I hope the students understood what I was trying to point out.

Another updated Article.

I'm not advising you to do likewise, but I've been in 4 college Spanish classes (pre-reqs at the time for my major), and dropped the classes all 4 times.

I'd sit in class the whole time and repeat in my head "speak English!!!".........Then I'd drop the class.

Good luck, dear.

The immigration issue begs the question, "What would Jesus do?"

Why does it beg that question?

=) your a great person, unfortunately I can't drop my class. Plus, I really don't have a problem with learning their language. As long as people make it mandatory for them to learn our language as well.

The thing is Spanish people, do take my class. They pass it with no problem, which I think is unfair. They should take a different language.

What would Jesus do? Well if you asked that to the Hildabeast Hillary Clinton, she'd say conservatives and the Minute men would have him crucified since he'd return as an illegal immigrant.
Read Romans 13 and Luke 20:20-25 for a version on WWJD for real.
Bleeding heart liberals never know what scriptures to quote about such things, and you can bet they have no idea what they're talking about if they quote scripture.

I'm all for compassion, but we must first be a nation under the rule of law.

Around here (D.C.) one has to know Spanish just to deal with car accidents. A few years ago, when a Latino rear-ended me, he said, "No hablo ingles." Didn't work! I majored in Spanish! End result: we communicated, but he didn't like it much.

Jesus would say, "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's." Then he would tell you to obey the law. Jesus never advocated "criminal's rights." He never encouraged people to violate the law, which is exactly what millions of people in this country are doing every day.

We have immigration laws established in this country to protect us and protect our freedoms. I'm all for immigration, but those who choose to disobey our immigration laws, and those who sneak across our borders and live here illegally are CRIMINALS, plain and simple. What a slap in the face to those who have followed legal procedures to become citizens of the U.S. Illegal aliens should be sent home, and our National Guard needs to be sent to protect our borders ASAP.
